Charlie Lyons established the Paint Box Gallery on 25 June, 1961. A native son of the Door Peninsula and an artist all of his life, Charlie showcased the work of many fine artists across the nation as well as his own hand colored woodblock prints, (signed R. Lyons). The Paint Box Gallery has also faithfully supplied the community with art materials, fine framing, fine art restoration, historical arts information, technical information and fine art appraisals since 1961.

We don’t just have original works of art, we also offer professional framing and matting. We have been in the framing business for the past 45 years. We frame pieces of fine art, home projects, documents, needlework, and many other items. We have thousands of framing options to choose from. In addition we offer special services such as reframing, art restoration and rejuvenation. Along with everything else we carry a large selection of artists supplies.

The Paint Box Gallery is located in scenic Door County, Wisconsin.
